FRED JOHNSON is the results-oriented founder and CEO of InitiativeOne, Institute of Business Leadership. Founded in 1999, InitiativeOne is a leadership firm specializing in the development of an organization's most important and only sustainable resource, its people. He and his staff inspire cultural change within an organization by focusing on and improving the behaviors of the organization's key leaders. While pastoring four churches for nearly two decades, Dr. Johnson developed a proprietary model demonstrating a pattern of how people respond to change, both positively and negatively. After training other pastors to be more effective leaders, word soon spread to other corporate leaders and he began to address their leadership teams on how to effectively lead positive change. He is a highly sought-after speaker, and a nationally recognized expert on the interaction and implications of different generations working in the same organization.
He has taught his leadership and organizational process to groups as diverse as senior executives of Fortune 100 companies and family-owned business with less than twenty people. Paul developed his leadership skills early in life, working with his father and brother in their family-owned trucking business. Paul has over twenty years of pastoral experience. Later, under the leadership of Dr. Fred Johnson at InitiativeOne, he began working with executive teams across North America. An expert in organizational leadership, he is a recognized author, speaker and professor, and has worked with leaders in North and South America, as well as Asia.
He lives in Knoxville, Tennessee with his wife, Lynn and son, Nick.
